undue influence

I am the benefic. on a trust I was left everything, now a son is sueing me say that he has letters he found at his dads house that i wrote saying i was going to marry his dad letters are 4 years old, i relized i loved this man as a grandpa only and that is what i have said now with these letters there saying i promised him marriage is why he left me his property. now they want me to quick claim my interest and give me 2500 dollars their saying i would lose in court please help

you also need to look at how much you got under the trust, have you spent any of it, are your judgment proof as to the rest, how much will an attorney cost, etc. You clearly will need an attorney experienced in such matters as it will be an argument as to what the facts are and what they mean.
