Unfair sellers policy on Amazon

Can they legally stop me from selling on their site? I have a lifetime score of 92% and was very surprised that I was not allowed to sell with them anymore. I asked them to reconsider because other sellers with lifetime scores lower than mine were still allowed to sell the same products. I even offer a full 30 day guarantee and all the customer has to do is contact me for a refund which none of the 5 complaints I received did.

Their feedback policy is a complete joke, if a competitor wanted to sabotage another competitor, all they would have to do is to get someone to buy something from a direct competitor and leave a bad feedback, with enough bad feedbacks, Amazon will block you and thus putting you out of business.

My business was doing extremely well and was looking to pick up momentum when they stopped me from selling on 2-6-08 claiming that I had poor feedback scores. They won't even listen to reason and they just give me the standard, sorry, you are out of luck line.

Their policy for sellers makes it very difficult for the seller to protect themselves and is completely unfair.

Can they be sued? Or at least forced to allow me to sell again

Re: Unfair sellers policy on Amazon

Anyone can sue anyone else. The question is whether you can win.

I suspect that buried in all the paperwork you signed with Amazon are provisions covering your situation.

I think you should move on, but another lawyer might see it differently.

Sorry!
