Wedding Photography

Signed a contract for a photographer to do our wedding, but wish to cancel our contract due to quality of sample pictures. The contract does not have a cancellatin policy, therefore I sent a termination agreement for him to sign. However, he refuses to sign it. Since he has no contract policy on the contract, aren't I within my right to cancel? I provided him with a termination and I'm not sure what else I should do? Our wedding isn't until next May (& months) so there is ample warning. Thank You,

Re: Wedding Photography

What you can do is governed by the terms of the contract you signed. You may very well be obligated to pay him as agreed.

A big question you are going to have to answer if you are going to fight this is why you didn't look at the photographer's samples BEFORE you signed the contract.
