From my understanding, given that the automatic stay went into effect immediately upon the filing of my case, the state court could not enter a valid judgment after my filing. How do I petition the court to set aside the judgment?
Have the State Court issue an order coiding the judgment. You can probably do it with a letter with proof of filing. Call the state court clerk or judge's chambers that issued the order.
Escrow and Title
Knowing a real estate purchase contract had been checked off on the option �Title to be taken �to be determined at close of escrow�, and the earnest check was deposited to an escrow account for the benefit of two people, is the escrow agent allowed to let one of the two people provide the closing costs to the same escrow account but only for his benefit taking the other name off the escrow account? At that point can he specify only himself to be on the title? Or are they required to notify or get permission from the other person?
Juvenile Strikes
My husband is fighting a 3 strike case. He is asking his attorney to plead his prior strikes/strike prior strikes. My husband got 2 juvenile strikes in i believe 2002 maybe 2004. I was told that in juvenile court you do not have the right to trial by jury so he received a trial by judge. I was also informed that apprendi vs. new jersey might be of help because it was before his juvenile strikes...and it is retroactive. I would like more info on how this case can help my husband plead his juvenile strikes in court (while in court on a 3 strike case.) Also i need to know if these cases might help him? ...people vs. burgos..people vs benson and people vs sanchez. One of these cases is something about if the incidents all happened at the same time you cannot recieve more than one strike...is that correct?

I have two children whom are residents of Florida. My divorce was in Texas and there they only do joint custody. However, they have always lived with me in Indiana and now in Florida. They are visiting their dad in Texas. They should return this week and dad is saying he isn't going to make them come back to Florida,because my 14 yr. old keeps going back and forth with where to live. What can I do to get my boys home?
A single LLC with several DBAs
I have recently submitted my paperwork to form an LLC. I'm
going to operate several DBAs under this LLC. Does each DBA
need a federal & state tax id number, business licenses, seller's
permit, etc. or will this information from the LLC cover the DBA?
Is there any additional information I have to file for the DBA's?
I am currently a subleaser on my current apartment. The lease ends on July 31st, and will have to be renewed by June 30th. My roommates spoke with me yesterday, raising the possibility that they will not renew with me.
However after a quick search on craigslist, I've found out that they posted an ad there five days ago, in which they, without my permission, entered and photographed my room. They made no mention of this before yesterday, and I'm quite frankly furious by this act of transgression. Does this constitute a breach of privacy laws - I have the paper evidence to back it up... and what are my options at this point?
