Laid off on 1/23 with last day being 2/1. Every single check since then has been incorrect. No mention in paperwork that I had the right to negotiate. Was not informed of different tax rates.
I have had to point out errors. When errors are corrected they are done days before payment is due to me. I have also found that other former employees received a month per year of employment while I received only 2 weeks.
Here we are in the middle of the coronavirus epidemic and they are now saying my coming check will be less than 50% of what I was expecting.
If you signed the Agreement it is likely binding. If you have yet to sign it you can attempt to negotiate its terms. Present it to a lawyer to discuss your options. All the best.
Reckless by speeding ticket in VA
I got a reckless by speeding ticket in Fairfax, VA in June. it was 80 mph 50 mph zone. I decided to take the driving improvement class. Can you advice me whether to take a lawer or not. I have previous driving ticket bu, those are three years a go.
