So I ended up pleading on November 20th 2017. I got 1 year deffered sentence 120 hours community service, random UA tests and DA supervision fees and CS fees. I also had to take a drug and alcohol assesment. Cost $85. I finished the assessment and went to the DAs office to make sure that would work. She said it would be fine. The very next week, she told me I had to take a different one that cost $160. The other one wasn't the right one. So I did that. Now I'm also having to take a weekly DUI class that is $60 a week for 6 weeks. All to get back my license. But I NEVER had a license, and wasn't charged with not having one, and don't intend on getting one. And they are also only giving me until April to pay off the $2,000.00 in court costs and fees. And during my assesment, I tested too high and they changed 2 of my answers to make me eligible for the DUI school. Haven't drank in over a year. I answered the questions honestly. But they changed them to make me eligible.
If you want to ever drive then you need to have your driving privilege restored. Doesn’t matter that you never had a license. You have to do the ADSAC to restore your driving privileges.
