I had just arrived at my home. Parked my car, locked it and had gotten out of the vehicle when an officer proceeded to come onto my property and forced me to take a breathalyzer. This is my first offense for a misdemeanor DUI.
If you are 21 you are considered an Adult and not eligible for Youthful Offender. However you are eligible for the PreTrial Intervention Program (PTIP) which allows first time offenders to enter the program and once finished your case will be dismissed. You can speak to an attorney in your county and they should provide you with the details.
If there has never been a youthful offender determination, that is no judge has ever denied youthful offender in this case, yes you can apply for and will likely get youthful offender for this case.
Landlord/Tenant
My landlord discussed my finacial issues with her son who isn't part of the lease agreement and the son ended up talking about what he was told with another person. Would something like this void out the lease agreement?
parole
Our son was convicted of Captol Murder in Texas under their law of having to serve forty years before becoming eligible for parole. He has over ten years completed and if he is granted an interstate compact to California, just how much time would he have to serve before becoming eligible for parole under California law.
We would so appreciate a reply.
Thank you, Fred
