Does your claim include any issues under the Human Rights Act 1998?
It looks like the form you mention (N208) and the Human Rights Act of 1998 involve UK-based law. The attorneys who are active on this question board generally handle questions involving for the most part U.S.-based law. You might lose valuable time waiting for a response here - maybe you could look into whether there are comparable question boards out there geared toward UK-law. Good luck

Abduction
my wife left the country for good(having total custody of our children) and our children were under state supervision for a DUI that happened over 1 yr ago (my wife drove under the influence with the children in the car). At the time of the DUI the children were removed from home but she gained custody back after 6 months. She was on probation when she decided to leave the country(obviously for her DUI). I am OK with her leaving the country and do not wish to file charges against her nor do I want the kids to come back because they are safe where they are. But the safe children coalition are pressuring me threatening with imprisonment for not knowing or telling where they are. I know they are OK and not in danger and they seem happy. I know shes capable of providing for them. Can they put me in jail for not knowing or telling? Arent they violating my human rights? what can I do??
I am cited for a court hearing where theyll review my kids caseand last time I had one (december) I was threatened with imprisonment. I support my wifes decision 100% and also understand that fleeing the country is a serious matter but having my children removed from the home again was not an option. please help
hello,
My wife was involved in an accident where she was hit by a car from behind. The car that hit my wife (from behind) also got hit by another car from its behind. My wife's car had very minor damages on its back and the car that hit her from behind had damages both to the front and its behind and the third car had damages to its front. My wife had slowed down as there was an accident being cleared at the site and so there was a traffic cop at the location already. At the time the cop had decided to give my wife a ticket for stopping improperly. Also the cop had told my wife that she will not be responsible for any of the damages.
My wife contested the citation in court and lost. Later it was found that the third car was driving with no insurance. Now the car that hit my wife from behind has approached my wife's insurance to cover the damages as my wife was found guilty of the traffic violation. My wife's insurance has denied this claim and now the legal firm representing the driver that hit my wife's car has contacted us to pay for the damages.
Kindly advice on how to handle this situation.
Thanks.
