My first two DWIs were in 2015 I got them 6 weeks apart from one another so they ran them concurrent and I successfully completed 18 months of probation. Only 2 months after getting off probation is when I picked up my third. All three of these did not involve any car accidents and no one was hurt. This last one I was found slumped over at the will with my car in part but the engine was running I was taken to the emergency room blood was drawn and I was charged with my 3rd DWI I had a very high BAC. What would be any chance at all I could get this third one lowered to anything other than a felony. I don't want this on my record for the rest of my life and prevent me from living the life I'm used to and having the jobs that I'm used to. Any advice would help I'm also looking for an extremely successful felony DWI lawyer in San Antonio? I don't feel the one I currently have is doing a very good job. Any advice would help thank you in advance
Also I meant to say if your first two DWIs were concurrent then your 3rd is not a felony. To get a DWI 2 you must have a DWI that you have been convicted of. You have not had a DWI 2 so the 3rd is your two.
I would guess that is 6 years in jail probated for 5 years, meaning it is 5 years probation. Be aware there may be a suspension of your driver's license and mandatory interloc as well.
