created contract to provide signage to a client, I being the designer, creator and Installer, I would purchase the materials needed to do so and construct and then install, had set a date on one part of estimate, however states "this is an estimate on the goods named and subject to change if criteria and or conditions change" I had ongoing communication right up until I moved and had no internet and was given three days by client to answer facebook message and was not contacted by phone or mail of the clients intentions to file charges. (I also was dealing with death in the family and domestic abuse issues) she filed cless then 2 weeks after estimate date, and I was charged with failure to return disposition of property. however, being a one women structure, and dealing with very tramatic issues personally, I was not timely to her needs. she refused payments (i recieved 2 patments)and wanted in full only. I then became homeless as I still am. (now facing prelim meeting tomorrow)
Reasonable I’d determined the the facts and circumstances surrounding the issue. It could be 30, 60, even 90 days. Bottom line, if you refund the money, they will likely dismiss the charge.
