My father died 7 months ago and my stepmother says that he willed her everything. He has a $400K home, paid for before they were married, 29 years. She will not give us a copy of the will. How can I get a copy, and what is the time limit??

If she has a will, she needs to file it with the court within 30 days after the death of your father. If there is no will, and the house is in your father's name only, then someone will need to petition the court to probate the estate. You should do so immediately.
