Seeking Attorney advice on Coronavirus' impact on tenant's ability to pay rent and early termination of rental lease agreement

My colleague is correct, and I add the following. Handling these situations cannot really be addressed without someone asking you questions directly. If someone helps you see the bigger picture, it likely will surface possible negotiated solutions. Get some help with situational analysis, and communication coaching inside the tenant landlord relationship.

The City of Los Angeles has or will shortly impose a moratorium on evictions related to inability to pay based on the Coronavirus. Apparently, once the crisis ends, people will have an opportunity to pay the back rent to avoid eviction. You will be required to show that your income was affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. All the details are not yet clear.
