My boyfriend got picked up from the Marshall's in Florida on 3/11/20 he is waiting for Pennsylvania to come get him. Do you think they will. And how long can they hold him
I don't have ESP, a crystal ball, Tarot cards, an Ouiji board or any other way to tell you what WILL happen and due to obvious security reasons no one in the system will you their plan.
All you can do is monitor the local jail. So long as he's there you'll know where he is and from there only 2 possibilities exist: Either he was taken for transport (during which time he will be "dark") or he will be released for failure to extradite in a timely fashion. So what is timely?
There is no set in stone time frame for extradition and interstate (State to State) extradition varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
The closest that you are going to come to getting a competent answer is to call the shift commander at the facility where he is being held (awaiting extradition) and ask how long they will hold him (what is there time frame / policy) awaiting transport. It could be a week or a month. I can't say, but the shift commander can (and hopefully will).
If you call then follow the rule of the 3 "p"'s (be patient, pleasant and polite), in which case you'll likely be surprised at just how knowledgeable and helpful they can be. Conversely...
You can also hire a lawyer in the State that is seeking him (in this case PA) to attempt to negotiate terms of release with the prosecutor and or the Court, but that may not be successful. Please note that this is not to suggest that he / you should not try, in fact you should try if you can afford to do so, so I encourage you to consider hiring counsel in the State that issued the warrant (again, PA) asap . Even if you cannot get a bond you may be able to expedite transportation and, if not, then you can still get a head start on dealing with the underlying case.
Wishing your b/f luck and hoping that I have been helpful in answering your question.
Pennsylvania will not come and get him. They will hire a transport agency to transport him.
This is a dated article but still true.
As far as I know the company is still operating. It is a cramped van.

MIP Passenger in MI
I received a MIP passenger and was not given a breath test. Although I admitted to sharing a beer hours earlier with my GF. We had no alcohol in our system.
Land Contract
I am in a land contract to purchase a property and I want out. I am not satisfied with the property. I think I can get out by simple forfeiting all monies paid but i'm not sure. If I vacate the property, am I liable for the entire balance of the purchase price?
I want a divorce from my husband.
The house is in my name only and I made the majority of the house payment at the time that he did not have a job.The house did belong to his parent. I want him to leave, as we do have a 15 years old daughter living at home attending High school. I am also unemployed due to laid-off and claiming UI benfits at this time as I cannot afford to move to another place. He claimed social secirity disability as he can afford to move to a place of his own.My question can I make or tell him to leave?
