COVID-19 is having a huge impact on businesses. The government has issued stay-at-home orders. Businesses have also implemented work-from-home policies for employees. These policies, however, may create new challenges for businesses in protecting their confidential information and trade secrets.
Good day,
My name is Debbie Baxter. I live in Utah and have an court order for child support ORS case 000601393 against my ex husband. He moved to South Carolina and is self employed. He owes over $10,000 in child support and will not even communicate with me anymore. The court found him guilty of contempt and ordered him to pay my legal fees, which he has not. He also refuses to pay his 1/2 of our daughter's medical and dental fees. I understand that there are various steps which could be taken to help force him to pay us including taking away his driver's license, freezing bank accounts, putting liens on his assets, etc. My child support case was in Utah with the Office of Recovery Services. They have forwarded it to a South Carolina child support agency. I have been unable to communicate with South Carolina. I am falling further and further in debt due to failure of the father to pay us. I do not want to have my house foreclosed upon. Are there any organizations, etc. whom I may contact to help put some "fire" under him. He has assets which he has used for plane fares, cruises, trips to resorts, a pleasure boat, Harley motorcycle, Corvette, King Ranch Truck, etc. I have copies of these as he turned some of his banking activity in to the courts. He has money, but doesn't want to pay for his responsibilities which include his daughter. Any help you can give me would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I got injured at work and I know I am entitled to a workers comp lawyer and I am in the process of obtaining one. But my actual question is am I capable of having a case against my General Manager and the company I work for due to the fact that after I got injured my GM didn't do anything about it and had me keep working on my injured knee it wasn't till about 40 minutes later that I was able to bring it to attention to my other manager and that is when they finally agreed to send me to a doctor. So the basic question is do I have a case or did the GM do what he was supposed to do and it didn't matter that he had me still work on my knee because eventually he did send me to a doctor.
Thank you for your time I know I summed it up so if there needs any more clearity just ask.
