The process dip number

is this the same as the case number?

The DIP number is used in bankruptcies (Chapter 11 business reorganization or Chapter 7 business liquidation). The number itself is GENERALLY the same as the case number, but check with the court clerk's office to be sure that these numbers are used interchangeably (they probably are).
