Re: child custody

not really a legal age other then 18 but a parent can petition to modify custody anytime and request the court (meaning the judge) to speak to the child to see what he wants. Based on age, intelligence and the court's impression of the child, the judge will make any modifications he/she sees fit for the child's best interests! call my office for a free consultation on filing a petition to modify custody if you are interested!
