Creating LLC/business license
I'd like to start doing a consulting service for a company in Taiwan where I will be located as well. What are the necessary steps that I need to take? Create a LLC (any state?), business license (Mountain View, CA?), and a bank account (any location?). Please tell me the necessary steps I need to take.

I do not know enojugh to help you, but have you condiered it might be cheaper to set up a Taiwanese company instead. If you think you might expand to China, you probably would not have a Taiwan business.
