Damage to a loaner car

We had some work done at a dealership and they gave us a loaner. We returned the car o the dealership and the next morning at 11:00 they called us and said the car had damage. They are wanting us to pay for the repairs. I believe that when they take possession of the car they have ended the contract. Neither my wife or I noticed the scratch and we do not believe we did it.

Re: Damage to a loaner car

Generally, when you pick up a "loaner" vehicle; you will sign a statement that you are accepting the vehicle without any damage and if you damage the vehicle, you will be liable. You should review the terms of the agreement. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
