If a ins officer detain a person without any paper who has a american child , citizen wife and his lawyer tries to open his case. after a motion to reopen a case is filed how much time does the court take to respone to the case and when does the person gets to go home .

Normally detention cases they treat with priority. We always write the word DETAINED all caps and bold on the front of the motion to get the Judge's attention. was there an old deportation. Is the I-130 already approved?
