In Ohio, the law requires employers to make all wage payments to employees within 30 days of a regularly scheduled pay date. If there is no regularly scheduled pay date, the employer may have more time available to them to delay payment. Depending on the length of delay, this could violate the law, but I don't know the specific facts of your situation.
