Multiple Sclerosis and Discrimination
I currently attend a university in my area. recently I was diagnosed with MS. I have done poorly this semesterd and think they may terminate me. My question is is this discrimination? I have done poorly before and someone told me if I tried to bring a case that this might affect the case. My doctor told me and I have records that say I have had this for a while, much longer than just the physical symptoms. Anyone familiar to MS knows that fatiuge is the biggest problem those of us with the disease face. I don't want to be out a degree and some hundred thousand dollars just because my school dose not understand my condition( which i presented to them and have had talks with the counslers and addministration on a regular basis).They have not said what they are going to do yet but i finish in two quarters. So I have almost graduated. The stress from this and from possibly not getting my degree have caused my condition to worsen. I do not have medical documentation on this because I was not insurred at the time I was diagnosed and am now unable to secure a provider as per my prexisting condition.

If you are unable to do the coursework, it is not discrimination to suffer the consequences. You may be able to cut back the course load so that you take fewer classes per semester. That may help you finish the classes with better grades since you can devote more time per class. The college may help out in that respect.
