RE: Selling Dead Inmates Memorablilia

My friend and I were discussing some memorabilia that I have possession of. It came from someone that was in Florida's State prison. He was executed by lethal injection. I mentioned that I was going to sell it and she said that she thought that it was illegal to sell anything belonging to an ex-con dead or alive. Is it true?

Re: RE: Selling Dead Inmates Memorablilia

The problem is that some other family member may have the right to his belongings...if the property was not specifically given to you by the former inmate, it may be stolen property. You should discuss with an attorney wheter you are the rightful owner of the property before you try to sell it.
