Text messaging as written notificiation
My wife's ex has decided to send us
text messages from time to time and
has recently ''conveyed to me'' that
he has given me what the papers call
''written notification'' in the form of a
text message, which I never
received. Does a text message
constitute ''written notification''?
Re: Text messaging as written notificiation
Interesting question, that the judge in your case will probably have to decide through a Motion to Clarify. Her decree might define what written notification is, (many do) and that would answer your question. I would argue that it does not, since a text has to be accepted, the monthly balance may be used up and the text never arrived and you would never know that it was sent in the first place.
