two family home
i have recently been awarded social security disabilty. we are unable to afford the single family home we are in with what i was given monthly. we are thinking of trying to get a two family home to help with cost. would this affect my ssdi benefits? thankyou

So long as you are not proving an ability to work based on what you do in the process of running the separate apartment, you should not be penalized for this. SSDI is "insurance" based, not "need" based.
