I lent my car to my friend about 5 hours ago. He never returned and hasn't answered his phone. I am worried something might have happened to him or that he was possibly arrested. I don't want to report my car stolen though since I'm not sure that's what he case is yet. Can I call and inquire about it being impounded without reporting it stolen? What should I do?
you can do any of those things.
you can tell cops you lent it and can not reach your friend and fear possible foul play.
