Hi. Since this entire coronavirus pandemic, I was told by the Sheriff's office that my local county (Solano) is not doing evictions at this time. We were already going to start the process the week before the order was issued by the governor. My question is since I'm staying at an extended stay place (Basically like an apartment with a kitchen, bedrooms, living room) They told us on Friday evening that they were refusing us service of items (i.e. toilet paper, towels, trash bags) Can they do that? I thought it was a health hazard to not properly exchange items for clean ones. Any answer would be welcomed. Thank you.
What are you asking - about evicting someone from a place you want to move into, or your rights in a motel?
One thing is clear. If the Sheriff's office won't cooperate, there is nothing you can do without a judge's order.
house sale settlement
Mother-in-law passed away in Iowa. Her house was sold and the money should have gone to her three grown children however, one of the children passed away a few months later in Illinois. The deceased daughter has three children and many debts. Money hasn't been disbursed because of those debts. Why can't other two children be given their money and contested inheritance held in escrow?
Can a legal action be taken?
