Do I have case? I worked as a farm manager for over 10 years we lived in one of his houses as part of my salary in may my wife and I decided to buy our own home something to leave to our kids you know and at the age of 60 when I retire I didnt want to have to worry about finding a place of being homeless. When my boss found out he blew up and said we should have told him and treated me like crap since and on 9/9/10 he came up 2 me and said we butt heads and I dont see you working here anymore your fired be out of my house by the end of the month. Our house was nowhere near being ready to move in since we bought a fixer uper we just finally got the gas turned on today. The farm had charge accounts at different places and hr called all of them and told them all I was fired and couldnt charge any more. These people who I have made friends with over the years called me to ask why I got fired. He told the 2 employees that worked under me not to talk to me anymore. I was nothing but good to that farm...working long hours and would bend over backwards for them and this is the thanks I got

Not sure what remedy you would be seeking. Unless you have an employment agreement, your employer can certainly fire you. You do not provide any facts which would indicate unlawful termination. Regarding the house, I would need more information, but it may be possible to claim that there is some sort of lease arrangement, in which case the owner would need to give you written notice, and until the end of the next lease term to vacate (for example, in a typical month to month paid on the first of the month, if the owner gave you notice to vacate on September 20, you would have until the end of the next month, or October 31 to vacate). Whether this would apply in your case is unclear from the facts provided.
