I am to be served a restraining order for harrassment. Do I just obey it or do I have to appear in court? The person requesting it lives in KS, I live in MO.

You should not ignore this! If a full Order of Protection is entered against you, there will be negative consequences. For instance, you would not be able to possess any firearms. Also, the other party can use it against you if there is other litigation. At Court you may be able to enter a Consent Order which is not an admission of fault. An attorney would be very helpful.
