I got to USA in 2009 on j1 . Recently I married a citizen and I need to apply for a green card. I lost my I-94 and I don't know what to do . Today I send requests to CBP (custom and border patrol ) and FOIA to give me proof of entry but i don't know if that wil be enough. Can they deny my application if I don't have I-94? I do have my passport and the stamp on the visa.
Thee is no need for I-94, even though you can obtain it easily. The stamp on passport is enough. Apply for your adjustment and file all the required evidence as stated on the USCIS website
You can file Form I-102 for a replacement I-94 card.
No, don't worry - your CBP entry/admission stamp on your passport is enough. No need to I-94. There was also no need to "file a FOIA" to obtain a copy of your I-94...
