I have a living revocable trust I would like to fund with a property in CA that I owned before marriage in Oregon. I have a declaration of homestead in my single name. When I deed to the trust do I need anything regarding the homestead? Also do I need a Proposed Change of Ownership report for the county for this recording?
I don't believe you will need to anything with the homestead as only an individual can claim a homestead. Yes, you will need to obtain PCOR form from the county. They are usually available on the County Recorder's website.
