My wife was just informed today that she should file for unemployment because they are closing because of coronavirus concerns.
Unless she has a contract stating she would continue to get paid in a situation like this (extremely unlikely), she needs to go ahead and apply for unemployment.
My landlocked parcel (A2) was created from parcel (A) in 1944. An abutting parcel (B) was under common ownership with my parcel in 2009.
Am I still entitled to an easement by necessity from parcel (A)? Were my potential necessity easement rights over parcel (A) damaged by the recent common ownership with parcel (B)?
Home Built on Possible Floodplain
I recently bought a home, October 2006. There is a creek behind the house and it turns out that everytime there is a large amount of rain or snow melts my yard floods. In fact it is happening to all the homes on my block. Do we have any legal rights? Or is this something we are just going to have to live with? One home has the water come all the way up to their home.
