My son is waiting to get his divorce finalized. His wife has filed an Acknowledgement and Notice of Limitation of Services. Is there any way to know about how long it will take from there to get the final decree? Or is it just a matter of waiting now for the judge to sign it?

If it's a simplified divorce, then they both need to set it for simplified final hearing through the clerk or case manager. If it's an uncontested divorce, then one of the parties needs to file a settlement agreement, and your son needs to set the case (probably through the case manager or judicial assistant) for a final uncontested hearing. The judge won't sign it automatically. It shouldn't take more than a few weeks at the most to get a hearing date.
