Been out of work since 9/17, foreclosure has started. I called laurel legal services for free help but was told I'm not eligible since I'm out of work. Can't they work out terms while you find work or get disability? I am so afraid I don't know what to do and I have no money at the moment to pay an attorney to help me. What does one do? I've always worked but became unable to due to nervous breakdown, it's been hard recovering with issues like this looming overhead. If they gave me a forebearance or something? I am behind 9 months...I don't want to just walk away from my property. I owe 105 plus a 30 heloc my home is worth approx 165

To qualify for a chapter 13, pursuant to the statute, you must have regular income. It is a requirement of a chapter 13 that you have a regular steady income.
