Today, when my 5 year old brother went to lunch at his public, Maryland elementary school, he had to go to the bathroom, so he raised his hand to be excused from his seat, as that is school lunchtime policy. No one called on him, so he wet himself. Worse yet, the teachers at the school either did not see the stain which covered most of his sweatpants, nor smelled the strong stench of urine, or they did not care to take care of him. After school, when his mother picked him up, he was still covered in freezing cold urine. We recently found out from him that a substitute teacher was working at his class. We would like to know if we can revoke this teacher's license in Maryland, and possible everywhere, as well as if there are other cases like this in which the child received compensation, however, we are more focused on making sure that this woman can not neglect children like this again. Is this possible?

There is set process for filing grievances against the teacher. Start with the school principal. If you don't receive attention there, go to the School Board. If that doesn't work, go to the Maryland Department of Education.
