Why am I required to buy Nebraska workers comp insurance? I am an owner operator who is leased to a Nebraska company but I live in Florida and work in all 48 states?

Because Nebraska requires all employees stationed out of the state to purchase WC coverage which would cover an on the job injury in any state.
