With regard to permanent spousal support guidelines in Louisiana, my knowledge is that no more than a third of the net income of the obligor can be obtained by recipient. Also, my understanding is that the support can be terminated if the recipient cohabits with another partner as in a marital relationship, even if not formally married, and the amount can be reduced if the income of the recipient rises or if the income of obligor lowers. I want to know of these guidelines are still valid, and also if the support received can be terminated if the recipient resides in a nonmarital situation with housemates.

The cohabitation would have to be of a romantic nature but yes you are correct that the guidelines are still valid. Roommates alone will not be enough however.
