I work for Tehama County and was placed paid administrative leave.
I am instructed to stay home between 8 and 5 and be available by phone. I know that is standard. I have to be able to be reached by phone and return to work within an hour.
I do not know why...they told me that they expected a quick investigation. I am instructed to NOT mention this to any other county employee.
The second paragraph states that "this action is not disciplinary and is necessary to complete a thorough investigation into complaints in this office regarding violations of county policies and procedures.
I am a social worker who prides myself in fair practices and do not have any disciplinary actions. I talked to my supervisor on the phone yesturday and she did not want my other office key said she wasn't worried about it and it was okay that I still have the camera i use for investigations. She said she missed me and the investigaion will be done "soon".
I am flipped out ....can they have me hanging forever?
When they say not disciplinary do they mean "not Yet?"
