Can Caremark call my doctor and make changes to my prescriptions or the number of refills without my knowledge?

arbiter and defense attorney know each other

I am the Plaintiff, Pro Per, in a civil action.

The matter has been assigned to non-binding arbitration.

The selected arbiter graduated law school locally, two years after the

defense attorney graduated from the same local law school.

I don\'t want to delay the case, but I do want to protect myself from a

partisan decision for the defense, even though it is non binding.

Is there a procedure I can use to protect my interests??

Child visitation

My son's father's new wife is playing buffer between he and I. I want to deal with the child's father when it comes to arranging visitation and things like that because she has proven that she is unreliable when it comes to delivering messages accurately and in a timely manner. I have told both of them this numerous times. She has said ''you are going to have to deal with me, period.'' Is it possible to get a TRO to stop her from contacting me and force him to contact me? Can I get a ballpark figure of about how much that will cost?

Verbal Agreements

several years ago our son in law came to me and asked if they could us 2 acres of our land to put a mobile home on. But it needed to be in their name in order to put the home on it.I convinced my husband to do it because of our daughter and two grand children needed stability. But we had a verbal agreement that it would come back to us when the moved off of it .They did move but our son in law refused to return it.it has been several years as they move elsewhere and built a nice brick home ( they rented the mobile home on the land which was distroyed by the tenants and then reposessed ). They are now doing quite well but my husband and I are old,sick and can't afford to pay for things we need. We tried to get the land back so we could sell out here and move into a cheaper place to live. But the son in law refuses to give it back. I have an abscessed tooth that I need to see an oral surgeon too.But he refuses to help or return the land but said he would sell the land for cash ''under the table''and give us a little of it.

Is there any thing we can do? I am disabled and unable to work. My husband is almost 69 yrs old and very ill.

Working with a contractor

We are about to embark on a remodeling project and will be hiring a general contractor. There are lots of stories about people loosing money when the contractor doesn't finish the job. What do we need to do to secure a contractual partnership with a contractor to guarantee our investment?

property line

I am in the prosses of getting my property survied. I know where the line is and my neighbors have a garage 1 foot over the line this hasn't been an issue with me but now they have a driveway, flower garden and fence all on my side. After getting it survied what are my rights to having them remove all.

Small Claims Court

I received a favorable decision with the BBB. ($650.00) The company said they are willing to pay me $20.00 a month, that's all they can afford. (Unbelievable....ugh!!!) It was suggested that I take this company to Small Claims Court. My question is....if they can't afford to pay me $650.00 now, how will a judge, at Small Claims Court get them to pay the full amount, due me? I never sued anybody and I don't know how this works. I'm sorry, but I have no idea what area of law this is?? I'm guessing!! I just want to get this over with as it has taken months and months.

Need to know if a person finds items that wash up on the beach from the gulf of mexico, and it has a sticker on it with the name of company who owns it, my question is now who has the legal ownership of the said items that were found on the beach the person who found them or the company who lost them.

harrassment

I ended a 6-month friendship that is now very bitter. He has been calling with threats and has been trying to ruin my reptutation. Also, he has been bragging about things he took from me. I wrote a letter demanding my belongings back in 10 days like I was instructed by the police department. I also mentioned in the letter that I didnt want him to contact me in any way or I would press harrassment charges. He recieved the certified letter today and has already called my house 5 times and I had to have my cell phone number changed. He is only 16 and I am almost 21...what can/should I do?

Defectiv product

Four years ago I got injured by a defectiv product, finally I went for a mediation and during the negociation I was left out in another room while my Lawyer was dealing with the deffence lawyers. Four hours latter they arrived to a certain ammount of money and I was informed and agreed to it and sing the legal papers. My question is Why I was not called to be present with all the Lawyers during the negociation or mediation? Was that legal? What should I do?

injury

I feel on a city sidewalk slab that was raised. I live in a senior building this walk is in between two buildings. I never asked for the city to pay for my medical expensies or ask for any monetay compensation. We were all sent a general letter asking us for our recommendations, ( to make our building better) I just got a letter in the mail saying that the city of Dearborn was not responsible because of a Michigan State Tort law. Now I would like for them to pay for my medical bills from the orthopedic doctor because when I feel I broke my wrist. I do have medicare and medicaid but the doctor does not except them. I am very confused as to why I even got this letter, as I stated I never asked to city for anything I just simply stated what had happened in hopes they would fix it before any one else gets hurt. Now what do I do???

Boat Storage

I was under the impression that a so called friend gave me a boat, I stored it during the winter at my neighbors house. I was fixing it up putting money into it when my friends friend called and advise that he was selling the boat and that people were coming over to look at. I explained that it was not in my yard and my neighbors were not home and we could not go in their back yard. I have called several times and ask them to retreive their boats with no response. My neighbors are upset and wants this removed from their property. I can't afford to keep moving it. What do I do? My neighbors might get fined from the city and I need it gone yesterday. Do I have to wait a length of time before I can get rid of it. I only agreed to store it on the promise that I would be using it this summer. I did not know the boat was owned by two people.

They do not and never have paid to store it on the property. Please let me know how to handle.

Dispute of Contract

While a recent vacation in Punta Cana, we made the mistake of signing a contract for a ''vacational club'' program, but some of the things they stated during the presentation are not written in the contract. Also this document was issued in Spanish, despite our request to have it in English (we have hispanic background, but do not undertand written Spanish). We want to cancel the contract and get our initial deposit back ($3.545, but the company refused saying that ''there is no cancellation.''

Is this something we can fight legally, or at least get our money back by filing it in ''Small Claims''?

Insurance

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in NY on 05-04-2004; as a consequence I became disabled by 02-03-2005. According to my Insurance Co. my benefits was denied because I was working at the time of the accident and Workers Compensation should be my only source of recovery.

However, in 05-31-2006 I filed for arbitration for the period ending 06-02-06 and award was given to my advantage. But the Insurance Co. appealed to master arbitrator and decision of the master arbitrator was due on 04-22-2007 but not yet received.

Is there is any thing that I can do?

A friend and I went to a nightclub and noticed they had a hangman's noose located right over the bar. I question the bartender about it. He only mentioned that it has been there for 15 years and that if it was him he would have taken it down. The establishment describes itself as a place that is diverse. What steps can be taken legally in having the noose removed from the establishment due to what it represents and how it might be considered offensive to customers?
