Child Photograhy Laws
Where can I find out what the laws are on videotaping or photgraphing children at a public event or outside area? We put on events all the time for clients and ask local schools to join in. We invite the media to get some attention to our events but we were told recently that we couldn't even span the crowd of kids because it is against the law to do that?? Info please!!!!!

Check out your local public law library for specific laws on photographing public events.
It would seem if the photographs are for a public event in a public space, for a newsworthy event, then I wouldn't think there would be a problem.
