Dog Dies- Money Back?

I live in Dallas, Texas and on April 24th purchased a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Pierce City, Missouri. She became ill just two days after bringing her home and died Monday April 30th. I took the puppy to the Vet and ran a number of test to find out what was wrong with the puppy. Everything came back negative, and the puppy died. I did not take the puppy back to the vet to figure out what caused the death (we had already spent $200 trying to fix her), we buried the puppy in our back yard. My question to you is, am I entitled to my money back? I did not sign a contract with the breeder but the posting for the puppy said it came with a certificate of health, current vaccinations, & vaccine/worming records.

Re: Dog Dies- Money Back?

I suggest you approach the breeder; most reputable breeders would ask for confirmation of death and then give you a discounted or free new animal.
