Garnishment of wages.
I am getting my wages garnished by a creditor. I am a resident of Texas. I thought only garnishments could be federal, child support and student loans. All other type of garnishments were not allowed in Texas.

That is correct. See a lawyer in your county to get this stopped. You might also show the law to your employer, as they could have some liability here.
