How long do I have to file a suit?

I broke my ankle years ago...probably 15 now. My cast was made incorrectly by the doctor, causing my arch to fall. I have all kinds of ankle problems now. I went back to that same doctor about pain, etc....and he says that the reason I am having so many issues is because I have no arch on that foot. I was a a child when this injury happened--is there anything I can do about it now?

Re: How long do I have to file a suit?

Generally you have only two years from the date of an incident by which time you may file a suit. However, there are circumstances where the statute of limitation can be extended. You have not given sufficient fact upon which determination can be made as to whether or not any exceptions apply in your case.

I hope this helps-
