Limits on Auto Insurance Policy
Is it possible to find out what kind of auto insurance policy limits another party has? We were hit in GA,and we know the state minimums, but we'd like to know the actual amount the other party has/had. They were 100% at fault. I am assuming the insurance company can pay up to that policy's limit.

You have to make the request pursuant to Georgia Code Section O.C.G.A. � 33-3-28. It has to be sent via certified mail or the insurance company does not have to comply with your request.
