Slip and Fall

I had fallen in the food store today and filed an accident report with the store manager. I am experiencing pain in my knee and lower back. I am scheduled to meet with a doctor on Wednesday. If there are no long lasting reproductions of the injuries am I still able to file a suit.

Re: Slip and Fall

HI-

There is a two year statute of limitations in cases like these in NJ - IF you are injured in a slip and fall you do not need to do show a permanent injury (like you might in some auto cases). At this point, I would advise you to seek a medical opinion and to evaluate what your injuries are. You should also make sure you receive all necessary treatment for this injury. The decision can then be made after this evaluation to determine if a legal claim should be made on your behalf.

If you would like to discuss this further, you may call me for a free consultation at: 9736869787
