Stolen boat recovery
I have a boat that was stloen 4 yrs, ago. C.H.P. recovered it and its in a tow yard and they wont release it to me? they want $1,044.00 i only had 500.00 on me and they woulnd take it, they can't hold my boat for hostage and they are. what do i need to do to get it back?

What is the $1,044.00 amount requested for? The law enforcement often charge for impound and storage of recovered items.
