Is there any liability for a small start up corporation hiring a consultant for minimum 40 hours per week on an ongoing basis while the consultant has an S Corp/EIN #. Is there any documentation to support if yes.
Voluntary restitution protection against larceny charges?
My friend stole $500 from his employer, was caught, fired, and made quick voluntary restitution. Can they still press criminal charges or pursue further civil penalties or is he safe from further action now that he has made full restitution?
