Adultery and divorce do not go hand in hand. Cheating may have been the cause of your divorce, but your spouse’s cheating will have no impact on the divorce settlement, because Washington is a no-fault state. This means that the law does not require spouses to prove fault to get a divorce.
Magistrate Case
Our familly felt cheated by a all-night service contractor. They charged a high service fee, did not fix our problem, and took us to the magistrate quickly for the money. Next day decision. At the hearing, without warning and much help, the attorney we were referred to, said it would cost a great deal to fight this as the service co. attorney said they would appeal if necessary. Our Atty. shunned us into paying the bill without any question. We are to pay him the $ directly in the next 7 days. I walked out as soon as he said of the agreement and i did not sign anything personally. If he comes after me for this money, which i pd more than was bill, towards his useless fees, may i just say i will serve jail time to settle this before i pay another cent? THis state has buisness force, cutthroat attorneys, but no knowledge of ''Principal'' in family matters. Full story behind this would grab your attention, i am sure. Please tell me if i may choose ''Jail Time'' over faceless, pirated, scammed acceptance? Or what would you recommend. Just pay all swindlers and bend over? Not a chance. I have made a claim and lack of atty. help, despite taking the money, is just another PA sick abusive indifference. I can give further details, if need be
y question involves a warrant from the State of California. I am currently located in China I started a school here teaching English 1 year ago.
My passport needs to be replaced, I have done some research on the internet and found conflicting information. Some information states the passport CAN be replaced as long as the warrant is a bench warrant not an arrest warrant.
Other information says that customs will issue a travel document that will only allow me to return to the US. I have also found information that people have received NEW passports while residing in the US with Warrants.
My question, is it possible to renew/replace a passport with an existing bench warrant?
As a side note, is there a difference between an arrest warrant and a bench warrant?
I know I should return to the states to absolve this problem however my business is very new and if I am forced to return now my business will fail. Within 6 months my business will be stable enough for me to return and remedy this problem. However returning now is detrimental to the success of my company.
