visitation

What legal steps can i take to ensure my childs well being?? Can i stop the visitations?? I am a mother who shares 5 year old son with father. temporary court agreement. the only problem is the father doesnt care for child but instead dropps of child at moms. But i am aware that the mother uses drugs and is emotionaly unstable. last week i noticed that my son had a big mark on his face. I have actually seen her slap him in the face before. The mother is controlling and feels like my son should listen to her because my son's father makes her feel like she has the right to do that. I am concerned but dont know how to deal with it. Our case is in california, but we temporarily all live in indiana. What can i do with us being out of state. The only thing that i do since i live next door is go to the house and care for my son, myself. but the father threateneds to get a restraining order.

Re: visitation

Your case is way too complicated for this forum. You should discuss the situation with your Ca. attorney about getting an order of modification as it sounds like that court still has jurisdiction.
