Whose Liable

I am a graphic and web designer. If a client of mine gives me copyright material to use in a job I am preparing for him who would be held liable?

Also, If I was employed a the employer asked me to take copyright material off the web who would be liable?

Re: Whose Liable

The courts are varied in how strongly they enforce copyrights, but they do enforce them. So you are well advised to consult with an attorney. My firm focuses on Internet law.
