I am recently divorced. My ex and I split custody equally. Since he has insurance through his job and I dont, we agreed that he will continue to carry the kids and pay for their insurance and in return, he can claim both kids when filing taxes. Now, with talks of relief checks, he thinks he's entitled to all of the money that is alotted for dependents. I think that we should split it, since we both have them equal amounts of time. Can you help?

Child support question
My ex is traveling to Mexico in a couple of days. Will he be able to leave the US even though he is behind on his child support? He is over $2,500.. Is there something that I can do? The AG's office had originally told me that he would not be able to get a passport if he was behind, he already had his passport. Thank you in advance for listening.
