I have had joint custody of my daughter for about 5 years. A little over a year ago her father kept her from me she was no longer aloud to stay with me because I had to move in with my grandmother I saw her maybe 1 day a week since then. As of 3 months ago my ex and his wife split up and my daughter has been living with his parents he only has her week ends I have my ian home now where she has her own room. He won't let her stay with me. I still only have her one day a week what can I do . Can I just keep her?

It depends upon the Order or agreement which gave joint custody 5 years ago. Do not violate that order (if it is a court order) but otherwise, yes you can keep your child. You should talk to a local attorney about the specific Order or agreement in your case.
